This course provides a closer look at the CON29 processes, risks and liabilities. It also provides those in data provider departments with a greater understanding of their role when engaging with the CON29. It covers a breakdown of enquires along with specific requirements around the responses.

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR:

Those who have in-depth knowledge of Local Land Charges and now require greater understanding of the CON29 process

Those who work in data provider departments, for example, planning.

THE COURSE WILL COVER: 

  • Overview of the CON29, legislation and fee setting

  • Enquiries of the Local Authority; what does each enquiry mean and what information is being sought?

  • An enquiry-by-enquiry examination

  • Using the guidance notes

  • Role of Local Land Charges Department; addressing data collection and accuracy issues both internally and externally and with County Councils

  • Who are Land Data and (NLIS) National Land Information Service
