Land Data is the leading authority on electronic land and property information, it is the owner and regulator of the National Land Information Service (NLIS).  NLIS provides electronic access to official sources of land and property information across the whole of England and Wales, it does this via a hub and a number of electronically accessible, customer facing channels.

In 2006 Land Data became a Community Interest Company (CIC) which is a limited company with additional features created specifically for community benefit and not purely for private advantage. Our status as a CIC reflects our commitment to making authoritative property search information accessible to the general public, whilst at the same time improving the home buying and selling process.
