Local Land Charges Training and Development 2019

Supported by the Local Land Charges Institute, this two-day annual event has been running for 23 years and is now a highly regarded feature in the local land charges calendar. The event is the only one of its kind to offer key training and development opportunities exclusively for Local Authority Local Land Charges personnel in England and Wales.

The 2019 event was a huge success, 150 delegates attended over the two days.  The daytime programme provided a mix of lively plenary sessions, a keynote session from Matt Prior from MHCLG and three breakout sessions covering Public Rights of Way, Local Land Charges and CON29 training and a session from Liverpool Council on their experience of migrating Local Land Charges to HM Land Registry.  During the conference breaks delegates had time to spend talking to the event's six exhibitors - The Coal Authority, LLCI, NLIS, Thames Water Property Searches, HMLR and the TM Group.  Two social events took place in the evenings, a dinner with a drinks reception sponsored by NLIS on the first night and the Land Data Local Land Charges Awards drinks reception, dinner and awards ceremony on the second evening.
