Conveyancers

- Reduce your Carbon Footprint

Thousands of conveyancing practitioners have used NLIS to order online searches across England and Wales.

NLIS creates an easy step change towards and in support of e-conveyancing. It was created with the specific purpose of making it quicker and easier for licensed conveyancers to access the relevant property records. In the HIPs age, it is likely that the vast majority of searches will be carried out electronically.

Put simply, NLIS provides an on-line link to all the various sources of information that are held at disparate and unconnected locations. Instead of submitting separate search requests in writing, along with the relevant fees, which is slow and inconvenient, conveyancers can purchase a one-stop-shop electronic search, via one of three NLIS Licensed Channels.
