Jan Boothroyd - Chief Executive

Jan Boothroyd  became Chief Executive Officer in February 2009. Jan has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of Land Data’s business units. She is a member of the Executive Board and reports to the Chair, Imtiaz Farookhi.

Business support unit

The business support unit underpins all of Land Data’s operational objectives and maintains core practices ensuring a safe and effective working environment for all staff.

IT and operations business unit

IT and operations create and manage new property search information initiatives. The team is responsible for managing the effective development of all stakeholders from an operational and technology perspective.

Business development business unit

Business Development's core function is to roll-out new electronically delivered search related products. The team is also responsible for the development and implementation of other collaborative projects to contribute to the long term and sustainable viability of the existing NLIS model.

Regulatory business unit

The Regulatory business unit is responsible for regulating current and future NLIS agreements, including channel licenses.

Marketing and communications business unit

The core objective for the Marketing and Communications team is to promote electronic official searches to all stakeholders in the sector providing guidance, where necessary, on new legislation. Lobbying in support of standards for the provision of electronic searches and promoting official electronically supplied land and property searches are also key objectives.
