Marketing Innovation Award


Kettering Borough Council
The Marketing Innovation category awards the local land charges department that has proved to the judges that they have been the most innovative and successful in terms of their marketing. Entrants for this category were asked to demonstrate their methods of marketing as well as outline the results achieved and provide examples of marketing material.


Customer Satisfaction Award for Local Authority Searches



Reading Borough Council
The Customer Satisfaction Award for Local Authority Searches was created to acknowledge those Local Land Charges teams who have gone the extra mile in terms of customer service levels. Solicitors, licensed conveyancers and HIP providers were asked to vote for the local authority that they felt provided excellent customer service.


Most Improved Services Award



Staffordshire Moorlands District Council
The Most Improved Services Award recognises the local land charges department that has made the most improvements in order to create a better NLIS service and product offering for their customers.

The judging of this award was based on the highest percentage increase in electronic NLIS searches versus other search types, whether an electronic search price is held, whether a new NLIS product was taken on in the last six months and if the NLIS connection level was upgraded.


Best NLIS Local Land Charges Department of the Year



Westminster City Council
This award was created to give recognition to the best NLIS Local Land Charges department. The winner was chosen based on the highest overall percentage of NLIS electronic search volumes, the NLIS connectivity level, whether an electronic search price is held by the LA and the monthly submission of data to MyNLIS.


Local Land Charges Officer of the year award


Kevin Crowl, Torridge District Council
This award recognises a Local Land Charges Officer that has made a really positive difference in the Local Land Charges industry.

All Local Land Charges officers were asked to nominate someone they thought would be worthy of the award and provide reasons why. Kevin Crowl from Torridge District Council received the highest number of votes making him the clear winner.

 




 

The 2009 Special Tribute Award


Amanda Renshaw, Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames and Peter Audin, York City Council
The 2010 Special Tribute Award is designed to give recognition to an individual or individuals that the LLCI Past Presidents felt had worked unselfishly and intuitively to encourage and support others within the Local Land Charges industry.

Every local authority across England and Wales will have benefitted in some way from Amanda and Peter’s efforts and dedication to the Local Land Charges Institute. The LLCI Past Presidents felt that they deserved, particularly at this time, to be recognised for the unstinting and often groundbreaking work they do and their commitment to the local land charges community.
